Our journey began when five talented designers, each with a unique background joined forces to challenge the status quo of mass-produced furniture.
We are Destiny, Anaïs, Luca, Jasmijn, and Daniel: a diverse team united by a shared passion for sustainable craftsmanship and a common goal, to offer a warm embrace in the form of an armchair.
Our story began in a design classroom, where one of us first created the early version of the armchair as part of a second-year project.
What started as a school assignment quickly sparked something more. When given the opportunity to choose our own focus the following year, we came together, motivated not by grades, but by a shared belief in the potential of this design.
From that moment on, we dedicated ourselves to refining and improving the chair, experimenting with alternative materials, testing new techniques, and sharpening every line and detail. Nestor has grown with us, evolving through countless iterations and long evenings of testing, sketching, and rethinking.
